I'm immensely grateful for my experience in the UNC-Chapel Hill THRIVE Program. It's been a privilege to connect with such a supportive community where individuals share, support, and find strength together. Through this journey, I've found solace and valuable coping strategies alongside fellow soldiers facing similar challenges. The program's holistic approach, expertly led by dedicated staff, offers profound support. I highly recommend the UNC-Chapel Hill THRIVE program to any soldier or First Responder dealing with Trauma... read more

If it hadn't been for the speech therapist recommending a swallowing study, I'd probably be paralyzed. Two cervical discs were on the verge of rupturing. The ... read more

All veterans, whether they have seen combat or not, and regardless of any previous diagnosis of TBI or PTSD, should consider applying for the THRIVE program. Don't rule yourself out by assuming you don't have these conditions or they're not severe enough. THRIVE takes a comprehensive approach to assess the overall health of veterans through a multidisciplinary team. During the three-day evaluation, they will determine if you have any diagnoses, related health issues, and the severity of any symptoms. Upon completion, you'll ... read more
