I bought a van from this seller after finding his ad on Craigslist. He presents the business as a small, “by owner” operation that cares about what it sells. I paid $3,800 for the van, and within two weeks—before I even received the license plate—one of the axels completely broke. BUYER BEWARE. I recently purchased a car from Transatlantic Sales that was showing a clean Carfax report and a clean title was shown to me by them. During the drive back to Maine, I noticed definite evidence of flood when I opened the gas fill door. Built up silt, mud and leaves beneath fill hole. Headliner fabric fell down during the trip. Bought an 05 Camry for our daughter, really good price, especially with the cost of used cars right now! Took it to the mechanic to have it looked over, he said there were no issues or repairs needed, and that it looks like it will be a good car.
