The ambulance workers were great. Problem was, this is not a company that is covered by many insurance companies, including mine. I had no choice what ambulance I was taken in and nobody mentioned that insurance would not cover the fees. The fees were astronomical!
Our driver, Clarence, was a real gem. My mom had to be transported from the hospital to a short-term rehabilitation facility, and he was a reassuring presence during a stressful time. He perfectly balanced professionalism with a friendly demeanor. The crew did their best to avoid pot holes on the way over too. He also told my mom what to expect next when she checked into the facility, and told us it was a good sign that the place smelled good!
My husband transport with them 3 to 4 times a week to the VA Roudebush hospital on West 10th Street. Sometimes, I travel with him for his appointments. Every driver we have came across have been professional and very polite and respectful to both my husband and myself. I may not know each driver by name, but they do an amazing job on getting him safe to and from the VA. So a big Thank you to all the Crew.
I was transported from St. Francis to UC Cincinnati Hospital last week after surgical complications. The ride was fairly smooth, but the person riding in the back of the ambulance with me, who should have been monitoring me during the ride was sleeping. When I began vomiting on myself during the ride, I could not get the attention of the person who was was supposed to be caring for me.
