The Name Says It All "Tranquility" – This was my first visit to a spa, I have to say I will definitely go back! I had a facial with Leah it was awesome, she explained every application and what it entailed. I also received a massage from Jen it too was awesome. I felt totally refreshed after leaving. The rest of the staff was friendly and courteous. The spa was spotless and the music was so soothing. What a relaxing experience! – The most enjoyable mani-pedi I have ever had! I got the 'Paint the Town Red' package as a gift and had never been to Tranquility, but I will be sure to return. The ambiance so wonderful, very tranquil and relaxing to even step foot in the door. My mani-pedi was with Diane who was absolutly amazing! The massage lotions used smelled great and felt great. THE BEST FACIAL, AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO TRAVEL TO BOSTON – A gem of a find, location not in a busy area, thus Tranquility sets the tone. Parking is not an issue. This spa is beautifully appointed for the space they are in, and the staff is very into customer satisfaction. I had a facial with Leah who does have magic fingers. My facial was not rushed and I like the fact that she explained about the prodcuts that were being used. I highly recommend Tranquility Day Spa for the ultimate in a luxury experience. Janis Cohen
Excellent spa! – I went to Tranquility Day Spa for the first time this past weekend with my mother. I've been to a few spas and this was, by far, the best experience I've had. It was my mom's first time at a spa and she was very nervous going for the first time. She was shocked by how relaxing it was and now she wants to go back again! Nice alternative to driving into town – At first, I didn't have the best feeling about this place. I guess I'm spoiled--I think, "day spa", or "full-service salon", and I think that there should be coffee being served, sometimes wine. I was a little tired yesterday, so I was hoping for coffee. Usually places like these offer to take your coat for you, but that wasn't offered either. SICK STAFF – I thought the staff was wicked nice! like they were just really friendly and they really did everything to my expectations. I got my eyebrows waxed and they did come out how I wanted, and I really liked them. My friend went as well but she said that it wasn't done to her suggestions. She did like them though. The ZEN feeling really made it feel awesome. It was a really great place and they definitely put their "hearts" into it. Thank you very much! I will definitely come again!!
Below Average Mani and Pedi – The spa atomosphere was beautifully decorated. The nail tech was a high school student with one month experience--why do spas do that?. I suppose if you have never had a manicure or pedicure before you might think it was average. This nail tech barely touched my cuticles, missed several spots with the polish and did not know how to massage your feet. Most thorough facial – It was the BEST facial ever! Leah never tried to push facial products. She helped me with skincare questions, and gave me samples of products to try. The facial itself was relaxing and I loved the arm, neck and shoulder massage. I will return as often as I can!
Fabulous – I go to Leah for a facial once a season (I'm a teacher, so I treat myself during the school vacations)... it is SO worth it. Leah does an outstanding job - never rushes - gives you some pointers but has NEVER pushed a product on me. The minute I walk into Tranquility, it's like walking into a whole other world... and I never feel awkward. Thanks! I'll be back for April vacation.
