I have been holding off on this review because I don’t like the negative ones, but this company needs reform in the customer service department. As a contractor I work with every brand, but Trane is the most difficult. Unresponsive by email or phone, so I have to go in person and wait in line to get an answer. (While three people are sitting behind counter not working) after all of that they did not warranty a part that is less than 5 years old, because they determined “it wasn’t needed for the repair”. 1 star because it's mandatory. Initial call with Parts lead was less than enthusiastic response on their end. A second call, leaving a voicemail yielded no call back. Waiting on parts ordered by the service company, who isn't getting any better service than I am. Pathetic. My 3 YO @Trane unit had 2 catastrophic failures (under warranty) had has been useless for over 2 weeks. I seriously doubt I'll have another Trane, and at this point certainly won't recommend them.
