be careful! – my brother and i ate here right before this restaurant was closed down temporarily by the health department. i was fine, but he got really sick. i have eaten at Trams several times and like the food, but it is definitely not worth the fear of getting sick.
My Favorite Restaurant in Pittsburgh – I don't know if it was the supposed "back story" that hooked my heart or the Saigon Soup or both, but Trams is by far my FAVORITE restaurant in Pittsburgh. I would wait out in the rain, snow, sleet or hail to get a seat in this place. The owner who is missing part of his arm, greets each person as they walk in, seats them and then takes their drink order. My favorite pho spot in the world – I live in virginia and make Trams my must spot to stop. The Pho soup and spring rolls are the best I have ever had
Our favorite Friday dinner – please try Tram's! amazing cuisine and we have never been let down. the food is so fresh and delicious and you need to go now! cash only and there is no ATM very close so bring cash.
Pretty good place – I like the spring rolls because they aren't super loaded with herbs, even though the ones I had in Vietnam were, and the dipping sauce is yummy too. The Pho Changing Experiance of a lifetime – I love Asian food of all different styles and fancies but I have never before ventured into the depths of Trams Kitchen. The first time I went there I was not sure what to get and the man with one arm who worked there instilled some doubt that maybe this was the wrong place to go. Confused by the reviews? It's worth a try! – I don't usually write reviews, but with the wide range of ratings for Tram's I figured I should chime in. I've been there three times, and while I haven't tried that many things from the menu, nearly all the food I've had has been excellent. As others have noted, the spring rolls are delicious. My sister and I both liked the shrimp/pork spring rolls better than the vegetarian ones, but the latter were good too. Not TOO CLEANED – I am so disappointed TRAM's KITCHEN. The place is NOT so CLEANED. The SERVICE is TERRIBLE. The SERVER is Very CRANKY. The food is okay....
