Purchased 16' car to go from CA to TX with a 64 Polara on the back. With no load, the bearings would get hot (too hot in my opionin) to the touch. Under load, they would get so hot that you could not keep a finger on them for longer than a second. I took a look at the bearings and they were not packed well, nor were they tightened properly. Re-packed everything and re tightend but the issue still remained.
