The installation was not performed. After 3 attempts with U-Haul at different locations, I never got the receiver hitch installed. On July 11th, 2024, my last attempt. I had at 8am appointment, but was told it was going to be another 2 hours before they even got to me. I canceled the appointment. My experience with U-Haul has been disappointing in ever way.
Was charged and extra $60 one week after I dropped my unit off. Yes, I filed a complaint online, and the staff there acts like they dont want to help. Edit: WELL OVER a year later, I just realized I never got that $60 charge back I was told I'd get. Just checked my bank records to confirm. Never again.
I made an appointment online to have a hitch installed on my SUV. The appointment was about a week and a half in the future so I figure everything should be good.
