The best Onion Rings! The hamburger was also very good!!!! Highly recommend stopping there if you can!
We had a great visit at the restaurant & back deck. Such kind & friendly people. Yummy food. Very inviting. I hope to stay for a day or two b4 the snow comes, now that I know they have live music!
The sign out front says "Best burger in Alaska". Honestly it would be hard to find a better one IMHO. Thick patties cooked to perfection. Tried the Grubstake with reindeer sausage and fried egg, I had to deconstruct it just to fit it in my mouth. Amazing! Bar staff is a lot of fun and mix up strong drinks and have a nice selection of local craft brews. Definitely recommend!

My husband created a reservation on Bookingdotcom and seconds later realized that the system populated the wrong date. He immediately called the Lodge and told the gentleman he made a mistake and asked to reschedule. Not only did the owner/manager refuse to refund (he gave back half, which was $68.00, but wrote this to my husband: "Oh yes, I offered you two rooms at a discounted rate of $99 a nite vice the $1nite for your party of three and guess you didn’t want to stay here really anyway." Be careful.
