RecommendedUnexpected stay due to road closure due to fires. Staff was helpful and accommodating and our room was cozy and much appreciated after a long travel day. Topped off the day with 2 awesome cheese burgers - onion rings and sweet potato fries and an ice cold Coca-Cola. Plan on sleeping hard and having muffins and espresso at the shop across the street at 9am. We will be next time by choice, not forced!
We had our wedding at Trail Lake Lodge and we are so glad we did. Steamer, Colby, and the rest of the Lodge crew went above and beyond at every turn and worked tirelessly to attend to every detail and make the day absolutely perfect. The appetizers and cocktails they made for us and our guests were fantastic, the space was perfect for our group, and everyone had an amazing time. Trail Lake is the perfect setting for a wedding and the folks at the Lodge are the perfect hosts!
Great atmosphere, awesome food. Staff was very friendly and polite. Quiet and peaceful little spot. Sat outside by the lake enjoying the evening. Very relaxing.
Stopped in with my Tiny Human on our way back to ANC from Seward. Amazing food and service, even with a 150 guest wedding party outside. I’m more than impressed! We will be stopping again, for sure 😊
Such awesome people. Last minute reservation and they treated us like royalty!! Steamer is one awesome guy!! love back deck to see all the wildlife of Alaska !!
Best burgers and atmosphere! If you are on your way to or from Seward, you have to stop by. Unique, charming, and the very definition of Alaska.

I have pretty severe food allergies and the staff was very accommodating, knowledgeable on food ingredients and kind. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for an awesome place to stay!
