Do Not Support Their Business! So I read all the reviews on this store and thought I'd go see for myself yesterday afternoon. I was pretty disappointed after being in there less than 2 minutes. The staff is very lazy and standoffish. If you want something you pretty much have to hold their hand and ask about every little thing you are interested in. I was looking at a handgun and the guy "Bill" didn't even want to give me the time of day. I'm pretty knowledgeable about firearms and so it's a good thing I wasn't relying on hi... read more

The place to go Trail Boss is a great shop filled with friendly and helpfull individuals. It sounds to me like most of the people that are dissatisfied with the shop had their feeling hurt because the knowledgeable service they provide made them feel like they were children. It is their job to evaluate a customers needs and make informative suggestions, this is what they do. They don't know what your looking for so you have to tell them, just like any other store. If you are new to fire arms, or a seasoned marksman, this is ... read more

Trailboss Outfitters I have to say that after shopping around at most of the gun shops in Sierra Vista, Trailboss is the the one to avoid. The service is slightly shoddy, okay I'll be honest, terrible. There is one exception the owner is pretty friendly and helpful, but the rest.... Look if you are dead set on going there ask for the owner to help you. Don't even bother talking to anyone else. I have made several trips there to ask if they have a BSA for my weapon and was almost completely blown off by the staff. I won't men... read more

Highly Recommend! **10% MILITARY DISCOUNT** I have had nothing but great experiences every time we go to Trail boss. My girlfriend and I are stationed down here and we just got our CCW permits. Anyways the Owner sold my girlfriend her 1st semi auto for CCW, and his wife gave her a free box of 9mm that she personally liked best. He ordered a custom shoulder rig for her that she requested and while waiting for it to be sent, the owner gave us a holster to try out for free to see if we liked it or not. I got a great deal on a R... read more

Gun activist I purchase a weapon from Trail Boss before and was not really pleased with the service given to me but since they are one of few gun stores in the greater Sierra Vista area I thought I would give them the benefit of buying local in searching for a Beretta PX$ Storm 45 ACP. I have prices it all over the Internet and in Tucson and the average price is around $550 to $675. Trail Boss quoted me at $930. For a previous customer I find that price outrageous. I do not feel that I would ever spend my money in the establ... read more

Worth a look I have been shopping at Trail Boss for a number of years now and am very happy with them. The owner Gary supports the military as best as a small buisiness can. I go to the right arm night every month and they are there giving guns and prizes away to soldiers. I don't see anyone else in town doing that. As far as the staff being rude...the old Mike can be every once in awhile but he's a old retired CW4 what do you expect. You can count on him for any firearm relic question you can think of though. The young guys... read more

No good I've been to Trail Boss several times in the last few months for different reasons. Two members of the staff seem like they go out of their way to make you feel incompetent. Gun store staff, in my experience, have always been a little standoffish (retired beat cops or whatever) but these guys are bitter, mean folk. One guy even snatched a gun out of a lady's hand who was being helped by a different guy to show it to me. Go to any of the gun stores in Tucson instead. The drive is worth feeling like an adult when youâ€... read more

Trail Boss Outfitters is good in my book I just moved here from NC and the selection here and there are comparable. I was always disappointed in NC so i would have to purchase guns in my home state. I immediately felt at home at trail boss. They offered me coffee before i even started to look at guns. I was helped by a older gentleman and if you are a light skinned pansy who should live in San Francisco don't talk to him. If you are a man continue talking because that's the way men are. So after looking and holding and finge... read more

Trail Boss...more like Fail Boss I recently bought a Glock Model 22 .40. Went into trail boss to see about getting a left handed holster, since I shoot southpaw. Nothing of the sort in stock. They told me they would order one for me from the manufacturer, but couldn't give me a specific time for receiving it. This was after i put down $20 on the holster. This was a month ago. Shoddy, and shady. I do recommend either Chosin Guns, or the GUNS store right next door. Both located in Whetstone by R.V. City. Decently priced, and s... read more
