My dad was in compassionate hands when we changed his hospice care to Guiding Hospice. The transfer occurred 24 hours before he passed away, but Guiding never left his or our side. From first meeting Andrea the community liaison, I knew we had the right group. Rachael was our nurse and she became a member of our family, stepping in and out of dad's room as needed. My family's experience with Guiding Hospice, now Traditions, was the most unprofessional, disorganized, stress invoking experience I've ever had. At a time when a family needs guidance and compassion, they provided mistake after mistake after mistake, took my dad's dignity away, could not agree on the procedures from representative to representative, misled us on numerous occasions and the very last indignation was calling me to tell me my dad had passed.......when in fact their RN on duty had reported the wrong individual. ... read more
