I worked for this school this summer. I’ve had no experience in tae kwon do before coming and when I️ came I️ thought it just be like any other desk job. However, coming out of it, TMA has made a huge impact on me. The staff members are knowledgeable about their craft, but more importantly, you can tell they truly care about the students. They know every child by name and take care to focus on every student in class to make sure they get the attention they need to succeed. Master Na is a firm yet passionate teacher who will only advance you if you are ready. As a person he is incredibly generous and an astute business man. He hosts a lot of fun events for children including monthly parties, training trips and grand tournaments. These events bring a sense of community to the school as well as provide tons of great experiences. It’s not surprising how the school blossomed from 3 kids to 130 in such a short amount of time (about two years). TMA inspired me to continue with Tae Kwon Do in college, a sport I️ never thought I’d touch going in freshman year. In TMA, I️ found a means for a useful, intense exercise, a cleanly instruction space, a way to strengthen my discipline, but most importantly, a family.

With all of the years I have trained martial arts, different schools, and different masters, I've learned so much. But training under Master Na for over a decade has made me the instructor I am today. He is passionate in what he does, and brings out the real meaning of Taekwondo. The discipline, commitment, and perseverance are part of everyday life. Winners never quit, and quiters never win.

TMA is a great place to go. Its a very welcoming place, and it's very much a family. Our masters and instructors are very friendly as they help develop one's character, and being a student/instructor I know what it's like.
