The Trading Post has become our “go to” spot for celebrating life’s milestones. The food and service are consistently excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing. You can actually have a conversation without shouting!!! We live on Roosevelt Island and take the ferry to Pier 11 which is a stress free way to get to lower Manhattan.

Great selection of whiskey
Great atmosphere and within close proximity to our concert at Pier 17. Extensive bourbon menu was excellent. Loved it, would dine here again.
Great food, great place and great staff.
Ribs were delectable. Spicy Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita = Delicious.

Horrendous service! And we were the only eating patrons in the bar section. Burgers def not worthy of a $70 tab which only included one beer. Totally would’ve preferred Shake Shack food & service hands down, but the atmosphere and location is where it’s at with this joint. It’s located inside the street level of a historic building in the heart of the South Street Seaport, adorned with dark old charm, cozy nooks, and fireplaces.
