Our family has vacationed at Tradewinds since 2009. The quaint beach cottages are tropically furnished and impeccably maintained. Relaxing, comfortable atmosphere.

Excellent choice for a staycation weekend. Wonderful, friendly staff. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Our first visit was this year in February 2019. We loved having the pool & fishing pier on Sarasota Bay for great sunrise views. Beach access right across & down the street, with beach chairs waiting for you. Cottages were well planned out & spacious. Loved our cozy front porch. Parked our car & never had to do anything but ride bikes & hop on the free trolley. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, some directly on the beach. Very clean and cute. Pool nice and clean as well. 2 things they should change though.. Beach chair weren't unlocked early in the morning 730 to 8 ish so sitting and having my coffee on the beach didnt happen and they were locked back up before sunset... leave unlocked like the surrounding resorts... Just a suggestion. Cleaning pool should take place before it opens, not in the middle of the day we had to get out and for about half an hour while it was being cleaned and chemicals tested.
