this establishment is very rude. they called the police on a gentleman with underlying conditions that exempt him from wearing a mask PER THE RULES of the mandate. then they filed a trespassing order on him. bye bye trader joe’s naples.
I have just been made aware of the disgusting way a gentleman was treated in this store today. A gentleman who because of a medical condition is exempt from wearing a mask. A gentleman who because he declined the employee's offer of wearing a mask because he is medically exempt was subject to the worst kind of humiliation. They had the nerve to call the police on a man who wasn’t wearing a mask when he said he had health conditions that prevented it. I didn’t think that was legal. I was stunned at the scene they made. Very poor customer services. Will take my business elsewhere.
I watched your store call the police on a man with a medical condition today in Naples. Shameful to humiliate this poor man when your own policy and our county mandate states those with medical conditions don’t have to wear a mask. It’s all over social media already. Bad move!
