Today I was blocked from entry because the Trader Joe’s employee said I didn’t have on a cdc approved mask. I had my two very young children with me. We all had masks on. There is no such thing as a cdc approved mask. I will never shop at a Trader Joe’s again. The cdc only makes recommendations. They do not endorse or approve masks. #idiots
This cart is RIDICULOUS. The doorman tried to make me use this cart of shame when I was wearing a cloth mask properly covering my nose and mouth. According to the CDC WEBSITE, “CDC recommends wearing a mask, that covers the nose and mouth and fits snugly against the sides of the face, as a measure to contain the wearer’s respiratory droplets and help protect their co-workers and members of the general public.” I was wearing a mask. This was my first ever visit to the VB TJ’s. (It’s been four years since I’ve been in a state with my favorite store.) A little line was queued up outside today, but super speedy transition in and the TJ peeps were awesome as always to help get us in the store quickly, with sanitized hands and cart. Super helpful staff and lightning speed checkout. Well done!

June 9 had come to VA Beach for vacation with fam, wanted to get food to take back to hotel. Had never been to a Trader Joe's. The selection was great, interesting foods and better than expected prices ! Everything we've tried so far , definitely above par ! Staff was above and beyond! It made it fun , a shopping "experience " . Living in WV at the present (where covid precautions are very low) , I love the prudent precautions in the state ; and Trader Joe's took them even higher ! RESPECT! Will definitely spread the word !
