Lesson learned - Bloomington Trader Joe's: Never again on a weekend, (maybe never again anytime) thanks to the cashier Hugh, who encouraged the parents in front of me to let their 5 YO daughter hand cashier one item at a time. Brimming full cart. Becuase she "waaaanted to". My 10 minute run-in-for-two-things turned into 30+ minutes. They need an "unring" bell... Darralu Lindholm Forgot to mention... we were seven deep in line...
Love this place. Love the people that work there, kind and generous. Just tried the tomatillo mango salsa, DELISH! Still working up the courage to try the jackfruit in a can.
Not many stores where I can say I'm buds with the staff as a whole. Go in, they know me though not by name. Shoot the shit in the "Heyy, how's it going!" sort of way, and head off to my next errand. Never once had an unfriendly interaction.
Super friendly and clean! Definitely will go back!!
One of the staff told us at check out where 'bakers dozens' comes from. It's always a fun trip to Trader Joes!!
