Checker was rude & surly, even when I helped bag my own groceries. No "thanks". No "have a good day". This is unusual for this store. You are in customer service, that means you treat people kindly, no matter what they look like or how you have perceived them in the minute they walk up to your check out line.

Seriously my favorite place to shop. I love everything they have to offer. All though I work for a different company, I sell Trader Joe's on a daily basis. I tell most of my customers to GO TO trader Joe's. Truly great product, extremely friendly and helpful staff. I will always shop here!!
I went in to Trader Joe's to get some organic groceries and was having just a little trouble. I asked Melanie for some help and explained that I had recently found out I had basal cell carcinoma and would be having surgery and wanted to get healthier from now on and needed a little help with what I should get and what would be better for me.
