I made an appointment to see Dr. Capes a couple of months ago. Her office just called and canceled it. They said she would no longer be seeing patients with frequent UTIs and that I needed to see a nurse practitioner. Deciding not to see patients with this issue in the future is her prerogative. However, Dr. Capes should have kept any appointments she already had on her schedule. She should not dismiss patients that have waited months to see her and assume frequent UTIs is the only issue they intend to discuss with her. Extr... read more
Very thorough and considerate. Appears to be exemplary in her knowledge base. Some minor issue with coordination of tandem surgeon/ planning but doesn’t bear negatively on my review of her and her professionalism.

Had the sling done and she was amazing both pre and post. Great listener, attentive and kind.
Negative experience. I have a rare form of vulvodynia diagnosed by another doctor. Dr. Capes kept acting like the pain was all in my head. She is not nearly as educated as she should be in vulvar and vestibular pain. I hope another patient like me doesn't get treated as if the pain is "in their head." So glad I found a different doctor who is more educated in this space and was able to correctly diagnose me with Congenital Neuroproliferative Vestibulodynia.
