I made an appt. as a new patient. When I arrived, I filled out all the paperwork and then shown a room. I was met by a Nurse Practitioner. I told that my condition would not be covered by insurance. That I would need to pay $350. I explained that I had really good insurance PPO and that my deductible has been met. The NP kept telling me that my condition would not be covered. And that my Out of Pocket pay would be $350. I explained the pain and and color changes to my skin tags but she but she said if she treated me the Out ... read more

I was very excited for my appointment with Dr. Evans and was really quite disappointed. She spent a max of 10 minutes with me (a new patient) doing very little discovery of why I'd come in. Like others, I'd felt I was not listened to and thrown a bunch of products to purchase. More about selling products and procedures than listening to what patients want or need. Was kept waiting in exam/procedure room after initial meeting for more than 2 hours while treating others. Finally walked out with no explanation! RUDE!

Dr Evan's has been treating my various dermatological issues for several years. Every visit is met with professionalism and complete confidence with what I present. When I needed further diagnosis she was quick to refer me to a specialist. Dr Evans has made herself available on a few occasions after hours to discuss my emergent needs.

I suffered second degree burns all over my arms at the hands of her laser. She is highly incompetent. She referred to the burns as "bruising." Seared, blistered skin. This was due to her incompetence of not inquiring when my last sun exposure was. It had been within the past few days. Laser is attracted to melan in the skin, and sun exposure increases melan levels. She used an aperture of approximately 1x2" all over my arms. I am now scarred for life with white 1x2" patches on my forearms.
