I did not appreciate the attitude for the cashier Ashely. I asked about the discount deal on the 4x4x8 post. She quickly told me they don't sell those, and all they had was 4x5x8. Wrong. Jim from the back said it's 4/5x8 to allow for tolerance in the wooden post. Appreciated that info. Circling back to the discount on the post , she made me leave the counter go out to where they are stored and look for my self to see what the discount was. I was very surprised that this is the customer service this store supports. Unreal.
I filled a bag with what looked like just under 2 lbs of hex nuts by the scale in the isle. While paying I noticed 3 lbs on the register for a moment. Maybe the scale back in the isle was incorrect? It wasn't incorrect. It was right on the money. So either the scale at the register is off or the cashier is incompetent. My bill should have been less than $9, not just under $14. $5 is $5 folks. Either way, check your bulk item prices carefully everyone.
Staff is always helpful and always a great selection of seasonal things
I went here to get ducks a couple days ago. When I got home with them I looked and noticed that one of the baby ducklings had a leg that is completely broken. I called the store and the woman said “ after they leave the store we can’t take them back”. They offered a refund or to give me another duck. I do admit I should have looked before I left the store but I thought tractor supply would take better care of their animals and not sell hurt animals. Please check your ducks/ chickens etc. before you leave this location.
