Dr. Simms is a great doctor, maybe not for first time moms but she still delivered my daughter healthy and safely. She is not the best with communication but she knows what she’s doing and will be in a out. If you want a sensitive doctor I do not suggest her but if not then I highly suggest her. She’s been my doctor for over 4 years now.

If I could leave less than one star I would. I would NEVER recommend this woman to anyone. I went in for a very quick visit a few years back and left feeling like an idiot. I won’t go into detail but she came off completely uncaring, unprofessional and like I was a burden to her. After my visit, I heard her laughing at my situation to the nurses at her nurse station. Dr Simms helped me understand so much about my infertility struggles and how my body worked. She took her time explaining and answering all of my questions. I love that she was a no nonsense doctor. She knew what needed to happen and didn't waste my time or money. She's very knowledgeable and I feel like she trusted that I knew my body and was willing to hear me out. I would recommend her over and over again.

Appreciate how Dr Simms runs on time all the time as she understands her patients time is valuable also. She and her nurse are amazing! Easiest and most comfortable exams.

Dr. Simms was the doctor on call when I suffered a miscarriage. She was very mean and rude and acted as if my miscarriage was an extreme inconvenience to her. I would never recommend her to anyone.

As a first time mom everything is new to me. I went in for my first ultrasound with her at 8 weeks and 5 days. She insisted we can't hear a heart beat this early didn't explain the size of my baby or give me any information as to what was being shown. She handed me a picture and told me she'd see me at week 20. Heart defects run in my family yet she won't see me again until I'm five months? Not only that she gave me a DD of 07/03. Community and the ultrasound say 07/28. I will never go back.

Thankfully, I did not use her as my ob gyn, but I do go to Mesa Midwives. I was scheduled to have my ultrasound with her. She explained almost nothing. She does not have a good bedside manner. Out of curiosity, I asked her a simple question to which I got a sarcastic remark. I was not impressed. Pick a doctor, any other doctor, you'll have a much better experience...

I had my doctor try to remove my IUD but she was unable to find the strings I went to Simms I asked three different times for an ultrasound (during scheduling check-in and with the nurse) but never received one she was rough and I bled for a few days after she was unable to find the strings and said I needed to come in for a hysteroscopy I took it upon myself and got an x-ray to see where the IUD was at turns out it had made its way out and was no longer in me which the ultrasound would've shown

A bad bedside manner is fogivable if you receive good care. Unfortunately, Dr Simms does neither. I ended up with an emergency csection and got her as the doc on call. I had never met her before and was really frightened. Her manner was brusque, but my biggest beef is that she explained nothing. We thought I was there for observation and he was sent home. My life and my daughter's life were on the line, she knew it, and said nothing. I woke up having delivered and no one called my husband!
