Dr trachman is gone. Worst place imaginable. Waited 1.5 hrs past appt time. Then they said no referral. Had to call my Dr to show them where to find their own referral. Today after 42 minutes on the phone they wouldn't fax my prescription until I paid a 45$ refractory fee. Then Sylvia wouldn't give me her supervisors name. Have gone here 13 years. What a horrible place. Don't go save yourself the headache

My son has been a patient of Dr. Trachtman's since birth, Dr. Trachtman had started treating my son in the NICU of LVH.. Being born premature he needed special care, even after my son turned 18, 5 years ago, this doctor insisted my son remain his patient. We have never had a problem, yes, the waiting times are often longer than you would like but it is only because this man took special care NOT to miss any possible threats to his patients eyesight, he has been a Blessing to us and we will miss him terribly, he is like "fami... read more
Well I hear he is either retiring or is already retired, thank God. He does come highly recommended, and seems to be a nice guy, but for anyone looking for an eye doc for their child, I would not deal with him. If you’re reading this Mark, you lied to other doctors, and you lied to us. This will come back again. Debra Jennsen is your enemy, and she really put you in a bad spot, but you went along with her, why? I have no idea, I assume she threatened you somehow.
