This dealership will tell you that multiple items on your vehicle "need immediate/urgent attention" WHEN THEY HAVE NOT EVEN INSPECTED THE ***** IN QUESTION. I have this confirmed in an email from ***********************, the head of the service department at Toyota of Poway. He told me that if the car has not exclusively been serviced at Toyota of Poway in the past, they will simply rely on the car's mileage & what shows up on the Carfax report, rather than visually inspecting the items they are pushing you to repair/replace... read more

We have reviewed these statements from the customer and while we do not agree with all the information we have offered a $250 service credit towards future repairs . . The inital estimate and services were rendered as indicated and any further would be additional services needed on the vehicle .

Watch out for Toyota of Poways ******************* I have been going here for over 5 years. Had a very good working relationship with an honest Service Advisor. Lately, however, the dealership repair center consistently recommends repairs that are not needed, and maintenance that is way before Toyotas recommended change schedule. This past week I was told that my serpentine belt needed replacing. I agreed to the recommended repair, but this time I asked for the old part to be given to me. I have reviewed the repair order along with the Technician notes and the Technician did suggest a new drive belt stating (showing signs or wear ) . Is there not something wrong with the belt ? horrible service department. Their representative ****************** was was misinformative , rude , and unaccommodating . Not to mention the fact that the extended warranties are worthless if ever purchased.

Terrible experience. Had an employee accidentally leave the phone still on, so I heard everything she said about me to her co worker while I was still on the phone listening. She said very rude things about me and laughed at me and in so many words called me stupid. I did text the employee to let her know that the phone was still on and I could hear everything. She then played stupid as if she had no idea what I was talking about. Spoke with the manager. Manager spoke with the employee. Definitely will never go to this deale... read more

I wish I could give them NO star. I used to bring my **** ***** Accord for an oil change since my brother also brings his Lexus here. This car is single-handedly driven and well-taken care of with very low mileage just ~******* on Odometer. I park this car in the garage and never ever saw any oil on the floor. So, on one occasion, a service person said that this car may have a loose gasket because the mechanic saw a wetted gasket with engine oil around it. Unfortunately I cannot with a good conscience recommend Toyota of Poway.They lost any trust and respect I initially had after I purchased my "CPO" car here. I went to Toyota of Poway and bought a used car marketed as CPO/no accidents/clean car fax - trusting that the dealership would do a due diligent job inspecting the vehicle for safety before turning it around to sell to the public.
