There have been some changes within the last 4-6 weeks, some may be for the good - seating is better, dumplings sauce changed but still good, but the Bento salad and side veggie salad changed from bean sprouts to cabbage unfortunately, may be minor but its half my meal. So although this place still seems to be good heads up for the changes.

Toyo sushi is located in a strip mall. You have to order at the front. I ordered a few items. The tempura was pretty good. The sushi rolls though, not good. The fix seemed off. The ginger was definitely gone bad so avoid. If you end up here probably smell everything to make it's okay. The inside of the restaurant also doesnt bring any comfort, feels dated and dirty.

Stopped at Toyo Sushi for a quick dinner with a friend. The server was very friendly and welcoming. Food was ok. Spring rolls seemed very oily and so did the tempura for appetizers. The sushi we ate was good and well made. We tried the combo rolls which was a good portion for the price. Also ordered some for takeout at the end but it didn’t have much wasabi or ginger as a side. Definitely a stop for a lunch if you’re in the area but not quite a sit down dinner spot. Overall the entire meal was alright but not sure I’d return... read more
