Towson Promenade is run by UDR. UDR has use toxic customer practices. they constantly raise rent by unacceptable levels. that make you continually move into other units because they will only give optional rent rates to "new" leases. so every 2 years you have to move into a new unit because the rent has gone up to much already. in 9 years, I had to live in 5 different units because of rent hikes. oh and there was a giant flood caused by their faulty pipes and at first they didn't even want to relocate us. it took them 8 mont... read more
Do not lease from this company. They will charge you for cleaning carper with regular wear and to make matters worse, when we moved on, we had to completely clean the entire apartment on our own. I wrote it in the move in check list everything that was dirty. We had to put the furniture in the bedroom on the dirty carpet because I was told that they “Thought that the apartment was already cleaned and ready and the cleaning crew wouldn’t be in until the following week. Overpriced pest infested (mice and crickets in particular) building run by large real estate investment company that cares about your money but not about your problems. The price does not reflect the quality of living here. If you are tired of paying "luxury" prices for this pest infested building please reach out to me. Time to have someone take us seriously.
Fire alarms keep going off, for the first two monthsmy key fobs didnt work so I never had access to the building , walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing, theres rodents and mice everywhere, the management is terrible at addressing any problems and have always been rude when addressing them about problems.. Also upon moving out they are trying to charge me several hundred dollars for things that I made a record of from day one of moving in. I have been a resident for 2 years now and I will not renew. WE HAVE HAD SO MANY MOUSE SIGHTINGS ITS DISGUSTING. The Promenade refuses to accept that this is an issue saying maintenance will be with us in "3-5 days". The lease traps you into their terms and we essentially have no way out without paying hefty fines. Do NOT lease here!
