Townhouse Spa's guiding principle is the concept of the lavish social spa. The new inspiration of spa and lounge was fashioned by those who desire to linger and relax after their spa treatments. In the ideal setting of a beautifully restored townhouse, Townhouse Spa is the perfect location to socialize in a quiet, serene setting. This is indeed an idyllic marriage of traditional luxury with modern flourishes that caters to any possible need.

Not worth the money – I decided to go to townhouse spa with my husband as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were really excited about preparing for a relaxing experience. We scheduled the following services: hydrobath, couples massage manicure and pedicure. The hydrobath was okay except I had to try and hold myself in place which didn't allow me to relax. The only essential oils that were in the tub was Murphy's Oil from the last cleaning! The couples massage is where the real joke begins. We had two therapist Rachel a... read more
Worst experience/ They trick u!! Thieves – Was just at this spa yesterday w/ 3 girlfriends. We were told by there front desk that we had to book in advance in order to be together. So we booked a month prior. We get there & we are each separated & I mean in individual rooms!! We get the worst mani & pedi ever. They try to do both at the same time that the pedi is being done. The massage chair was old & the buttons did not work. The water was too cold & there were no jets & my legs are not even moisturized. I next had a facia... read more
Townhouse spa... nice exterior. services could be better. – i am sure it used to be a nice place, and is probably is a nice place unless you foolishly buy a promotional certificate - but then i would never pay $135 for a massage. the massage was done by a nice Asian girl. i am 5'7 and 125 lbs.considered lean. i guess i was still too much work for her as she mostly massaged me... with elbows and forearms! and no, it was not shiatsu. hydro soak was supposed to have a "blend of minerals added for your benefit" in the water. tho... read more
What an Experience! – I've been going to spas since I've been an adult. I visited Townhouse Spa on a friend's recommendation and I'm so glad I did! I was treated so courteously to begin with (I don't know what this last reviewer is talking about). The entire staff is extremely accommodating starting with the woman who booked my appointment. I got relaxed as soon as I stepped through the door. The massage I went for was unbelievable! The masseuse must have got into my bones because, when he finished, I needed a while before I... read more
Bad Attitude – A massage is supposed to be relaxing. While booking an appointment I was treated so rudely on the telephone. There is no excuse for a spa receptionist not to start the experience by being pleasant. Honestly, if I hadn't already paid, I would have cancelled just due to the attitude received on the phone. One pays too much for these services for such to receive such a snotty attitude. I've worked in sales for a lifetime - and the client always deserves minimal respect, even if you are busy. Good luck Townhouse, ... read more
Good massage – I am a runner, had some knee and ankle issues, and had heard great things about the Grounded Massage here. First, the massage therapist- Sam- was excellent, as promised. Unfortunately, after booking the Grounded Massage, I got a call three hours before my appointment informing me that they had double booked my time, and that I was being bumped up an hour, and would be getting a shorter massage. I wasn't in a position to reschedule or argue, so I went with it. I ended up not being able to get the Grounded Massa... read more
WORST SPA EXPERIENCE EVER – I had been going to this spa for a number of years. I had always enjoyed top-notch service and really loved going there. Then I had a really awful experience that I have never had before or since. Long story short, one day I went for my usual treatments but, during the second treatment, it became obvious that the spa was running behind schedule since another client was demanding to work with my technician (who was working with me). The receptionist, whom I had never met before, spent my entire tre... read more
Best way to your spouse's heart-Couples Massage!! – I wanted to surprise my husband with something special for his birthday, so I got him a couple's massage. We redeemed it yesterday, and the service was fantastic! We were greeted by the nicest receptionists, and then offered snacks (they had these delicious yogurt covered preztels, mixed nuts with dried fruit, and tons more!) and beverages (holistic herbal teas) before our services. During the massage, the ambiance of the room was perfect....Townhouse pulled no stops! They ... read more
Best spa facilities - you're never going to want to leave! – I read about Townhouse Spa in NYmag and decided to give a massage a try.. I've been an avid massage recipient for years, but recently moved to the area and wanted to see what all the hype was about.. I got there 20 minutes early and since I had time to kill, was offered a hydrasoak to get me started before the massage.. I have to say this was an amazing decision because it really 'warmed' my body up to the massage and I was able to really feel the full effects of t... read more
