Good hotel, poor handling of a loyal guest. The hotel itself is fine — clean, comfortable room, convenient location, free parking. But I am a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, and when I asked for a one-bedroom suite — offering to use my Nightly Upgrade Award — staff refused twice, in the app chat and by phone, saying a reservation booked with points cannot be changed. Dear hotel manager, I called the front desk (he told me he was the supervisor that night) at 7.45 pm on Tuesday October 20 to let him know that I will check in very late around 3 AM and asked him to reserve my room and wait for my late arrival. He refused and told me the latest check in was 2 am Oct.21 and I was considered no show and my whole booking for 2 nights would be cancelled and hung up on me. First night. Spent over 45 mins with lysol just to make the room somewhat livable for the 4 days we plan on staying. The comment was "oh its just human error. A full tub of lysol. And still not comfortable. Used points fornpur stay and feel stuck. We'll see how breakfast goes in the morning.
