Check-in is at three, but we arrived at 6:30. Our room was not ready, and we were made to wait for thirty minutes. Given that we paid nearly $800 for two nights, this situation is unacceptable. Absolutely ridiculous do not book here!!
6:30 PM on Friday and we just drove 4 hours to find our room is not ready. That's pathetic.
It was close to a lot. There is a huge grocery store right across the parking lot. Also an A&W, a Tim Hortons and a breakfast/ lunch place. The hot tub is teeny tiny. Sure can't get anymore than 2 people in there. Pool was nice. There was never anyone in the pool or hot tub. The breakfast wasn't that great. Everyday they had the same thing. It got boring. I would like to share our recent experience at TownePlace Suites in Thunder Bay. My family and I stayed at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. Overall, we found the hotel to be clean and quiet. Our room was even upgraded, and the breakfast was good. However, we encountered some issues with some of the service staff. For example, on our first night, my child wanted to watch TV.
