I HAD TO CALL 911 LAST NIGHT I am diabetic and never received my dinner last night and my sugars were very high and I got ill and couldn't lift my head off the table, because I thought I was going to pass out. MOST CARETAKERS ARE NOT VACCINATED AT TOWNE CLUB and I could not get an aid to come into my apartment last night because there was no one here from the entire shift that had the vaccine to come in! One of the caretakers came to my door and was nasty and yelling at me that they would not answer my buzzer if I needed help, and I would be left alone all night if I buzzed them. I live here and yesterday I found out that most of the caregivers and kitchen staff have not been vaccinated, and the residents were not told this. The residents are walking around without masks on thinking they are safe, and it is far from the truth. The caregivers and staffs have the right to not be vaccinated, but the residents also have the right to have this information and the owner is not letting anyone know. Before you think about sending your love one here or moving here yourself, please read my reviews. I currently live at towne club, and the only reason I stay is because I cant afford to move. Living here has been an absolute nightmare for me. I have not had a housekeeper for the last 4 weeks since the owner changed the schedules and has insisted that I have two people come in, one being a male, which I am very uncomfortable with. Before you think about moving to Towne Club Windermere, please read this! This place is terrible, the administrator abusive toward me and not willing to comply to state rules and laws as it pertains to residents rights. I never experienced the level of immature, abusive, and passive-aggressive behavior from a retirement community administrator until I moved to Towne Club Windermere a few months ago.
