Shepard's pie was very good. Truffle fries were tasty, but not warm (even after I asked if they could be warmed up). Elderflower gin martini was strong - just how I like my cocktail. ;)
Going to the Town Tavern has never not been a great experience.
We had a party of nine and the service and atmosphere was nice! Food was pretty good, my only disappointment was the server never let us know what the specials were and I didn't see them on the wall until after my food had already come. I would have definitely ordered one of the specials. All in all it was still a good experience.
We were in town from CLE for a show and the food was delicious. My husband's mind was blown with the old fashioned. Smooth and wonderful. Thank you for a great date night.

Great food, best cheese soup ever made with Havarti cheese and Two Hearted beer...
Service great. Pulled pork french dip very good. TT burger, not so much. hardly any flavor. Nice decor.
Great lively atmosphere and delicious food. The butternut squash soup was beyond AMAZING!
My favorite in the Royal Oak area. Food and service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is spot on!
