Mazda Service After the closure of El Cajon Mazda, I received a letter from Mazda to have my Warranty service performed at Westcott. I took the car to Westcott for routine service (~25K) and later found that at least one item they claimed to have serviced (battery check and cleaning) was never done.Shortly thereafter the battery died and upon removing the battery cover to jump the car it was badly corroded. POOR MANAGERIAL SKILL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I brought my Mazda5 that I purchased new from Westcott in for the sixth time to have the key fob repaired, which I leave as a spare at my house which stopped working from lack of use? 1st visit: Service manager fixed half of key and in turn damaged the other half so the two would not stay together. 2. Best car experience ever Westcott Mazda is the best. John Hine lied to me. Escondido try to steal from me, and Westcott Mazda sold me a car below invoice and treated me with the up most courtesy and respect. Truly world class staff and finance.
EXCELLENT!! I'd been shopping for a new vehicle for a while and had my mind set on a used Mazda RX-8. Tried searching the LA and San Diego areas and visited several dealerships but always ended up disappointed (especially with Hine Mazda in Mission Valley). SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys are SCAM artists!! I just brought a brand new 2010 Mazda 3, first they told me they had a special interest rate only for the 2010 then when I went to buy it they said "no that's only for the 2009". Westcott Mazda is dishonest!!!!! I recently went to Westcott Mazda to buy a used car. I can't tell you what an unpleasant experience it was for me. I was there for three hours, had an agreed-upon price, was at the finance guy's desk when he told me it was $1,500 more than I was told it was going to be. These people are nice and helpful until it's time to sign, and then the game changes. When I confronted the salesman, he just backpeddled and said "I told you it would be around that price." Hassle free and top notch service! I'm the type of person who usually doesn't write reviews, but I do try to read a lot of them before I spend my hard earned money. Westcott Mazda is not a place to go buy a car Very dishonest dealer. Very pushy during negotiation. Present deal to us with lies after lies. They were rude to us. Please don't go there to buy a car
