I love this place, it's a gem. Home made soup to the freshest salads. Very creative on the menu choices something for everyone. When it comes to deserts, everythings from scratch, Key line pie, bumbleberry,, Apple, Chocolate flour less cakes, new ones every day.. Coffee, Espresso and HOT Chocolate with real whip cream.. Sunday brunch menu! 11:30 to 4 on weekdays. If you have to wait for a table, pick up something good to read on the book store. A treasure for sure..

Our brunch was wonderful as always. We travel from Rockford for the food and charming atmosphere. They usually have a delicious vegetarian soup on the menu which we appreciate, and yesterday was no exception. As an added bonus, we browse the bookstore while there.
Went here for the first time with a friend this past weekend; she's a big reader so I wanted to bring her here. I was personally excited for the food as I checked out the menu beforehand & was delightfully impressed by my meal (eggs Benedict, on point). Cozy little bookstore as well; didn't buy any books but really enjoyed my visit here! Would come back to visit again if I'm in the St. Charles/surrounding area!
My very favorite restaurant in town. We go out to eat a lot and Town House is always my first choice. Everything is homemade including the soups, desserts and sandwiches. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient. The restaurant manager Vicky is absolutely wonderful. The bookstore is very quaint and carries all the latest books. I cannot say enough about this establishment!
