I paid cash for a mobile home 12/10\21 and still havent received went in two months ago and no work was done
This dealership is a nightmare to deal with!! We bought a mobile home from them last August, we paid cash for the home on Aug. 13, 2021. After it was paid for in full, they continued to use the mobile home, without our permission, as a model home! When we complained about it, they sent us a picture that the steps had been removed and they were no longer using it, we went over there and they were still using it, as a matter of fact, it was wide open on a Sunday when noone was even on the lot to watch it! Do NOT buy from Mccomb home center, the houses delivered are NOT what the model homes show. Trim is **** *****, missing blinds, back doors don’t even close, closet doors are put on completely backwards, nails are sticking up through flooring, NONE of the interior doors in house close correctly OR lock, cabinets are crooked and don’t close correctly, trim outs are NOT completed, skirting still not put on over 3 months after house was set. Let me tell yall about ****. **** was hand picked and sent from the mobile home buying angels to make my life 1000 times easier. He never stopped working to get me in the exact home I wanted, even when I bombarded him with questions and concerns. And trust me, I'm not the easiest person to deal with. I’m lost for words how we were done by this company . We bought a trailer that was a repo .we were unaware the home had a lot of water damage and rotten wood . The trailer had bugs that took over a year to get rid of . I’m still investing money in this place because every time I turn around something is falling apart . I recently had a child and am literally discussed that I have to work on things that should have never been allowed to be sold to an individual in any circumstances . I was notified by email that I had a hard hit on my credit report. After several calls, I discovered without my permission my credit was pulled to finance a mobile home. The excuse I received was another customer with the same name came in to purchase a home. THAT'S A LIE, BECAUSE OUR CREDIT IS PULLED BY OUR SSN NOT NAMES. I asked for them to remove this inquiry I was told they working on it. I monitor everything especially now. I'm awaiting a resolution before seeking legal advice. 30 days!!!
Horrible experience with the owner/manager Doug at regional homes mobile homes sales in Hammond. I was asked what color exterior vinyl I wanted. I requested gray. Showed up light tan, not even close to gray. Doug admitted he was supposed to call me before delivering to tell me that was the only color he could get. But he forgot to. Told me it was out of his hands and would not change the color no matter what. Nor would he pay for anyone to change the vinyl to a gray. Mr. ********* came in to our lot looking for 3 mobile homes for a park that he has rental properties in. He expressed to us that he could not wait as long as some other lots were telling him that it would be for them to order him the homes. We completed the deal and ordered the homes that he wanted. After ordering the homes, due to two resin plants being damaged in Texas and Louisiana, there was/is a shortage of vinyl siding, tubs and showers, doors, as well as mini blinds.
