I’m deeply disappointed and disgusted by the treatment my family received at Touchpoint Pediatrics, specifically from Dr. Shaw. My son has been a patient at this practice for years, and we had previously agreed on a modified vaccine schedule that worked for our family. However, after further research and consideration — especially since he had already received nearly all of the standard vaccinations — we made the informed and personal decision to stop further vaccinations at this time. The front desk staff are really unpleasant. I wonder how they manage to hire such unkind individuals, as it’s clear they don’t want to be there.
All and all this place is just a deplorable practice, the comment below is my case in point. Get your act together and update the practice a bit. The way things are done here it’s like you’re either talking to a robot or you’re handling physical patient paperwork like it’s still the 1970’s. it’s not 1973 anymore it’s 2025. The unorganized way this practice collects and handles secure patient paperwork and information leaves a lot to be desired. We had a very disappointing experience during a routine visit for my kids, we politely asked if the exam room could be disinfected again, as the girls often get sick after visits. Although we were respectful, the staff reacted with attitude and seemed offended by the request. Later, a receptionist handed us a form saying the girls’ medical records would be transferred because we were “not a good fit” and “unsatisfied.” No explanation, just a rude attitude.
