This isn't total sports medicine, I went to see dr. Hu about pain I was having in my legs & he ran a dye test & told me to learn to live with the pain ! Instead of doing an MRI & try to find the problem, I went to another sports medicine orthopedic & did the MRI & found my pain was coming from discs in my spine which causing sciatica pain down my legs and I needed spacers for 3 of my discs & now the pain is gone ! So thks Dr Hu for not being the doctor who tries to find the problem not tell them to live with the spine stenos... read more
Both my husband and I have been treated by Dr. Yu and his PA Brian Lee over the past 3 years for various issues. My husband recently had surgery on his right shoulder, for biceps tenodesis and subacromial balloon spacer, to help relieve the pain of bone-on-bone impact due to osteoarthritis, and I have been receiving cortisone injections for similar pain in both shoulders… The meticulous attention and care of all the staff is to be congratulated. All around great experience for having to have hip replacement surgery, be it Dr. Yu, Brian (PA), David Graff (PT), the office staff and even the hospital staff at St Rose Dominican San Martin for the surgery and an overnight stay. - Professional, efficient and courteous!
