They discriminated against me and denied me for having emotional support animals. Then they invited me to reapply. I spent $450 and they still denied me because they said they found a different renter. I know it’s because of the emotional support animals. Then they kept my $450 and said they would refund two out of three applications. Why did they invite me to reapply if they were just going to keep my application money? I sent them something citing the laws that they were breaking regarding emotional support animals and a r... read more

Total Real Estate Of Nevada are shysters. All they want is to make money through adding fees to your lease. They were trying to make us pay for the sewer and trash and the owner had already stated that he was paying it and all we were paying was $1,750 a month. we talked to the owner and he agreed that we did not pay the sewer and the trash. We kept asking them to correct the lease by putting an O for owner by the sewer and trash. It took them forever to do it. I paid my rent and then that’s when the girl claimed that she se... read more

Business response:

<p>I apologize that you feel Total Real Estate of Nevada is being unfair toward you but what you mentioned about the owner not knowing the fees being enforced is simply untrue. We are the new property managers for the owner and the owner wanted to start charging for utilities since that is what is done on most leases; so everything that happens is approved by the owner. The owner has communicated with us every step of the way and knows everything we have done with his property and what is being enforced. As for the $100 admi... read more

This business has no concern for its tenants. It just wants to take your money. We gave a security deposit on a house rental of $2,050. A couple days later, we received the lease agreement to sign. We looked it over with our attorney and there were some minor changes we wanted to make i.e. they wanted a $100 deductible on any maintenance calls, whose responsibility it was to replace broken or non-working appliances, what is considered ordinary wear and tear, cost of landscaping, etc. When we went in to sign the lease we were... read more

Business response:

While changing the lease agreement was requested, we are unable to do so as other tenants would request the same diligence. By removing the service call fee or lowering the landscaping rate, Total Real Estate of Nevada would be paying out of pocket for services needed by/due to the tenant. This would not be suitable in ensuring the business remains at it's best while also supplying tenants with quick, timely repair services. While patching and painting over the small spots left was convenient, it created uneven paint colors ... read more

The previous negative reviews you see on this Yelp and Google reviews should paint a picture of a business that is built around squeezing the last dollar out of tenants and I am sure owners of home rentals. Steve, the face of the organization mentioned in the previous reviews is actually a charming personality in a Trump vein of slippery-tongue tricksters and snake-oil purveyors. He is, by clearly a structured policy, out to squeeze the most profit out of a home rental in Las Vegas. Often leaning very close to a legal bounda... read more

Business response:

We were extremely concerned after reading this review as the accusations do not reflect our practices. We reviewed emails from shortly after the move in & yes, the owner had not had the carpet cleaned, we did have this done once we were aware of that concern. We require that applicant's see properties prior to renting so they know the condition before they apply. We give tenant's 10 days to complete a property condition report so that they have time to note the condition of everything in the home & while we do not show that ... read more

Total Real Estate stole $80 from me. When it came time to return all the keys and garage door openers that were given to us, they were less than accommodating. I returned all keys and garage clickers on time. When I received my security deposit back, they tried charging me for $120 of items that I had originally listed in the conditions report. They said they would refund me on $40. The other $80 was for a garage door clicker they say didn't work. I know that to be untrue. I tested all keys and garage clickers the day I retu... read more

Business response:

Total Real Estate of NV received two (2) garage remotes from the former tenant when he moved out. As we do with all remotes the vendor will go to the property and test them. One worked the other did not. The vendor even changed the battery in the inoperable one and it still didn't work. Per the lease agreement it is the tenant's responsibility to return the garage remotes in good, working condition and the tenant only returned one (1) that was working. Contrary to what the tenant is claiming no one stole $80.00. In addition... read more

My parents are seniors. They have always followed the rules and done things right. They found a home located at, **** ******* *** Las Vegas, NV XXXXX. They really liked the house and decided they would move in to it. They have great credit and they were approved for the home with no issues. Yesterday, 06/15/17, my parents went in to sign the lease and pick up the keys. They came prepared with cashier's checks for the deposit and the rent for the remainder of the month. While they were there, Steve asked them for more money.... read more

Business response:

Jose' complaint is not accurate. Your parents were approved to lease a property by agreeing to pay the pro-rated amount of rent for the remaining days in June 2017 and the first full month's rent which was July 2017. Your father agreed and was informed of this on June 6th when I called and told him that he was approved and again the next day when he came into our office to pay the security deposit which was required to hold the property. The payment of the July rent was necessitated by the collections that were on your pare... read more
