This is the best chimney service around. Reliable and clean! Steve’s guys are professional and never make a mess. I’ve been using them for years. They have some of the most advanced techniques and clean from the inside up the flue with zero mess. As a retired firefighter, I’ve seen a lot of chimney fires. Don’t wait and have your chimney service done annually or more if you have any 90 degree bends. Cheap piece of mind.
I would recommend total chimney care. I had some issues, but the owner was great and made sure everything was done right. scheduled a cleaning 2 weeks in advance and was originally told someone would be by between 10am-2pm. No one showed when I called them they guaranteed me someone would be by 3pm. The owner spoke with me and made sure a technician came to my house. His team was very courteous. It took longer than I wish it did but the service was great.
Not at all pleased that I paid $150 for a 10 minute vacuum job. The main reason for contacting was to have an old grate removed that men could not remove (which is not their fault),but I literally paid $150 for a 10 minute job where only vacuuming was done. Also, when making the appt, I specified that my main reason for contacting was to have the grate removed. When the men came into my home i stated “my main concern is having the grate removed.” I paid for a vacuum job and the grate is still there.
My chimney was not working and the people from total chimney care came in and proposed a reasonably priced solution. For the first time in 3 years I have a working fireplace and the fix didn't break the bank. Thank you!!!
