I spent over $3500 TO BREAK MY LEASE, honestly IT WAS WORTH IT! That's how bad my experience at Toscana was. I never lived somewhere in which management has had such blatant disregard for the comfort and safety of their tenants. To quote Jen their manager, my flooded apartment with no usable kitchen or bathroom was "livable" and I was therefore responsible to pay rent or would face legal action despite being left homeless for 6weeks. My car got broken into and items have been stolen. Very poor management
Your Car is at risk I've been here since October. I like the place but it's very anti-smoking as is the whole city of Irvine. I don't know how you can ban smoking when you're outside. I've been subletting the living room from another tenant. The tenant is a horrible woman and that is one of the reasons why I'm moving. The drawers and cabinets are hard to open as they do not have knobs or easily accessible handles. The doors tend move and do not stay in place. too many problems & crime We discovered water leaking into our front door, which was taken care of in good timing, but now are being told we may have to pay to replace the carpet which was water-stained. Also, the water has been sneaking into the walls before we noticed anything. Apparently the mold problem someone else commented on here is true. They sprayed bleach on my walls today and are hiring contractors to come replace carpeting in another area that had been torn a bit in replacing the padding underneath. Another comp... read more

No privacy in vermin-ridden, rundown place – For a place built in 1985, it sure got rundown fast. Here's what you get at Toscana: 1. Critters: Food eaten off my counters, trash bags torn open. Office tells me, what can you expect, we live next to a wildlife preserve. Complained twice. 2. Kitchen looks old, bathroom is old and small. 3. Horrible complex for adults and professionals My husband and I have lived at Toscana for almost a year. We cannot wait to move out of this horrible complex. The employees at the management office are neither very professional nor very helpful. The maintenance response time is terrible. It's been a week since our maintenance request and they still haven't shown up. The upkeep of the property is unsatisfactory. used to be better This was the first apartment I ever lived in. I stayed here for 2 years: 1 year in a studio apartment, and 1 in a two bedroom. Back then, before they built Villa Sienna and all those condos next door, Toscana was known as the luxuriest apartment in Irvine. Now, it is being overshadowed by Villa Sienna and the condos around.
