italian food done right Came here on a business meeting and wow it was so good. I have not had food that tasty in a while. This is how you do Italian food. And not just how you do italian food but how you do it just right! The NY strip steak was amazing and cooked to perfection. The pasta was moist yet tender and oh so delectable. And the wine was top notch. The servers really do know their pairings and can make wonderful selections depending on the meal you will be having.
Italian Elegance This gets my vote as DC's top Italian. Chef Cesare LaFrancone I think has surpassed his mentor ROberto DOnna as the top Italian Chef in the city. While the decor is modern but bland, the food will provide you with memories to last a lifetime. Their risotto is worthy of song, and the vast array of dishes presents the best of all of Italy's culinary regions. Reservations recommended. They also have a discounted pre-theater menu.
