In a town with a reputation for excellent, authentic Mexican street food, Tortaco is no exception. Best tacos you're likely to find in southeast IA. Definitely recommend trying them with the pickled onions.
Very good authentic Mexican food. I love their carne asada tacos.
I fell in love with TORTACO when they were open on Church Street and missed them greatly when they closed. Now, Thank GOD, they are open again and still serving up the best Tortas and burritos in Ottumwa. Luv em!
Good food takes long to cook to perfection , and takes the knowledge and years of experience that only experts on the real Mexican entrees can show on each of their dishes using only real ingredients; Not the stuff you get in a can or a plastic bag at Walmart .
Food is awesome. Some of the best I've eaten. Definitely will be going back.
