I was in the store today around 2pm. I was purchasing approximately $150 worth of merchandise. The assistant manager was dealing with a customer. She was flat rude to this customers saying you are evidently not listening to me, and being very aggressive toward this customer. This was the worst case of customer service by a member of management I have ever witnessed. This customer walked out without even making a purchase. I'm thankful I have other options that just the Knoxville location. I ordered a bra from there 21 of April, I kept waiting and waiting for the bra, I called and they said it was there so I drove from over an hour away and when I got there they told me they didn't have it. well I emailed customer service and this was their response. I really thought Torrid was trans friendly. I just went to the West Town location. I got misgendered 5 times by the manager. Even after telling her I was a she. I really thought about returning everything I had just bought. I don’t know if I will shop there again.
I can't give a review when you can't even try on the clothes. I stood in line for over 30 minutes and still could not get into a dressing room. I finally gave up and put the $100 worth of merchandise I was going to buy back on the rack.
I was in 2 weeks ago with my husband to buy pretty much a new wardrobe. I have tried to avoid the mall for as long as I could since gaining weight, and had been buying everything online. However, I needed new pants, and couldn't do that without trying them on. I didn't get her name, but the sales associate who helped me, may have even been a manager was taller with long dark hair.
