Horrible management My son graduated and moved out of his apartment a year ago. Today I received a call from a collection company trying collect $116 for cleaning fees. Neither my son nor I had received any communication from Torey Pines management about this debt. This was the first time we had heard of this. Although I was very cordial and assured them that I would take care of the matter immediately, they continued to make threats and tried to educate me on the seriousness of the matter. Quiet community The complex is located in a quiet community. Some of the staff was unfriendly though on my visit there when I was apartment hunting. This is part of the reason I did not want to stay there. Some of the apartments have vaulted ceilings. Also, very spacious balconies and walk-in closets. Although the apartments were very nice, I didn't think they worth the high price.
