Terrible
I wish I could give 0 stars. And make the hospital and care team accountable for the death of my Dad. My Dad went in for a consultation and for a common surgery. After 6 procedures to fix their botched surgery and 8 weeks later he passed away. His care in those 8 weeks was horrific. He detonated daily. He was treated inhumane. I hope no one ever has to watch their love one treated the way he was.
I was truly impressed by this hospital. From the efficiency of the staff, to their genuine empathy, just impressive. To the doctor (don’t remember her name) who dealt with me, top notch. After visiting two different hospitals for some answers with real solutions (unfortunately didn’t happen) she was incredible with her personality and questioning. I’d say that within a few minutes she had an answer. Many tests were taken at her direction and I’m just extremely thankful for everyone’s caring. Thank you!
I am beyond disappointed with the emergency room experience at Toronto General Hospital. We were sent there directly by Princess Margaret Cancer Centre because my mother's oncology team said the situation was urgent and required immediate attention. You would think that when an oncology team sends a patient saying it’s urgent and needs care ASAP, that would be clearly communicated and prioritized so they could be rushed into a room.
