I had a potentially cancerous mole removal from my back with Dr. Robert Backstein. His behaviour was aggressive and rushed. There was no explanation of the procedure or that stitches would be required. I’d never had this done before so I didn’t know what to expect. If Dr. Backstein had told me upfront about the stitches and recovery time, I would have come back another day because I had a busy work week. Dr. Howard Yanofsky spent 1 minute diagnosing the issue but did not spend any time detailing how I should treat it, nor what I should look for. If his bedside manner is this poor for a simple issue, I'd hate to see him for something serious. He did not even explain why my previous diagnosis was not accurate despite providing a different diagnosis than what I was told originally. I was excited to try the Excel V laser to clear some small veins and broken capillaries under my eyes. I have tried Vbeam before and it worked immediately on the first session. The esthetician performing my laser didn't seem to know what she was doing at all. I kept asking her if I would see results and she kept saying she doesn't know and I should get a package because it's better to have more sessions. First time I talked to secretary it was good I booked my boyfriend’s appointment. I confirmed appointment a week ago and all of a sudden I get a call from a very rude secretary accusing me of changing the appointment. I was “frustrating” her cause I didn’t know what she was talking about the more I told her I didn’t change the appointment the more rude and upset she was getting.
