have been waiting for a follow up appointment since November of 2025, I am writing this in October of 2026 they were supposed to call me after promising all these great solutions too my pain. now everytime I call them they just say they have no reccord of it and to call CAMH (who referred me) but all CAMH has is documentation they sent that they were supposed to call me and no reccord that they have. most recently they recommended I just restart the referral process and stated and I quote " well you must have done somethin... read more
Horrible waste of time and useless. I’ve been diagnosed for nearly two decades and needed actual pain management like nerve ablation (which I received before at other clinics) and surgeries. Was infantilized by nursing students who wanted to talk about breathing techniques and mindfulness practices to help with my pain. Never saw an actual doctor or surgeon, never got a referral to a specialist who could actually help. Wasted moths of my time and left me feeling bitter and angry and still suffering in pain.
I read a review that said it's less stressful to live with your pain than to try to get help with it ... having tried TAPMI and the Wasser Clinic at Mt Sinai I would agree with that assessment.
I was referred to this clinic expecting individualized support, but much of the program consisted of repetitive self-directed education and generalized workshops. I was repeatedly directed to TAPMI pain modules despite already having years of experience managing chronic pain due to a congenital condition. Throughout my care, several professionals seemed to make assumptions about my condition rather than fully listening to my concerns.
