Solid Mexican – Torero's used to be my favorite Mexican in the triangle, but about a year or so ago it suddenly got more generic. The recipe for the Triangle's best salsa suddenly changed (it's much more bland now) and the menus got a slick overhaul to look more like a generic chain restaurant. The food is still good, if not great, but not that much different from El Rodeo/El Dorado, etc.. Don't expect traditional items such as tongue, stomach, menudo, etc.. Customers should be treated with respect – After a long evening of shopping for the perfect wedding dress my friend and I decided to stop by and eat at this establishment. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere here even though the food is a little on the bland side. Our waitress was courteous and our meal came quickly. When the check came I whipped out my bank card and paid the bill. The next day I went to fill my car up with gas and my card was declined. I ran home and looked at my statement. Average Mexican, but great staff! – To make a really long story short, my friends and I visit ethnic restaurants on a regular basis to sample different kinds of foods in various areas of the triangle. This was our September 2006 Ethnic Night. Yes, I'm behind in my reviews! :) The staff was very good! They accomodated our group of 18 people! They never skipped a beat! Best Mexican in my opinion! – Their chips and salsa are fresh and wonderful. They have always given me good service. Their skirt steak dish is my favorite. It is tender, juicy, and deliciously grilled. Fabulous Margaritas! Reasonably priced too!

Torreros host called me a cracker – I had lunch with a friend at Torerro's Mexican restaurant on Atlantic today. While we were waiting to be seated, I told my friend that I had eaten there a few times and always had good meals there. I went on to say that it seemed like there were always a good number of Mexicans eating there, and I guess that's a good sign that the food is authentic. Excellent Mexican – I very much enjoyed my dining experience at Torero's. Quick, attentive service and excellent food. Not quite as spicy as I like Mexican, but the habanero hot sauce on the table made up the difference. MARGARITAS WERE GREAT!!!! Prices are very reasonable. A+++

Best Mexican resturant in Raleigh – Citysearch has their phone number wrong: its 873-9116.. This resturant offers great food at a great price. Its the best mexican resturant in town. The only bad thing about it is its small and if you sit in certain non-smoking sections, you can still smell cig. smoke from the bar and you get affected by it. Its worth it though!
