Passed this place at least 100 times. Came with family today to something at Eastport market. Decided to get lunch at the cafe. i am very upset now. Upset that ive passed this place 100 times. Great made from scratch food large portions fair price friendly and efficient service and ate within 15 minutes of ordering. Great place instead of passing to go eat in TC this will be where we go eat on the way to TC. Go here the only disappointment you will have is that you didnt go here sooner.
Absolutely amazing!! We got to meet the chef who prepared our delicious meal. Stunning talent for a young man. I only see this place getting better as his experience grows!
We had a marvelous afternoon dancing to the Pine River Jazz Band and Leanne on vocals kept the energy up in the room. The building is lovely too and the staff friendly and good service. We’ll certainly be back. Thank you Leanne and your staff. See you soon 😊👏
We were invited to play our music at the Torch Lake Cafe and we felt very welcomed. The food was amazing (as always).
Service was absolutely terrible-long wait for our meals and the server never returned to check if we needed more beverages. My family’s meals came out 10 minutes before my own. The burgers were terribly greasy and the chicken parm was flavorless. We will never return nor recommend

Not since the days of Riccardi’s and Brownwood has there been a place at the north end where friends and family gather for food and drinks. It’s a risky venture because we all know that the area population makes businesses like restaurants difficult to succeed. No place is perfect but the opportunity to walk into that beautiful architectural and nostalgic space on the corner is something pretty special. I’ll be a loyal customer whenever I am fortunate enough to be up here.
