Seems to have good workers, but the communication sucks. The patching work was good, but they built the curbing on the wrong house. When it did get built on the correct address, it stuck out into the road. I asked for it to be cut off, and was dropped from communication for 40 days. Then they send an extra bill, labeled overdue, even before finishing the work. Do not recommend.
I have used Topps in 2005, 2009, 2013, 2018, 2022 and 2023 for asphalt work a private road. The work done ranged from converting a gravel road to asphalt, overlaying asphalt, repairs and sealing. This private road had various stretches done by various contractors over the last 25 years. There have been issues with the base getting depressions over time on stretches done by other contractors, but we never have had these problems on the roadway paved by Topps. HORRIBLE COMPANY. Zero communication within and zero communication with customers. They did a sloppy job, could not follow directions. Area over a drain has sunk, edges of asphalt crumbling, pot holes left, painting of humps is spotty and already wearing off. Official report to BBB.
We used Topps to repaint our parking lot. They did a great job, communicated well, showed up on time, and completed the work quickly. Very happy with the results.
Our Association recently had a driveway repaved and are very pleased. This company's prices are reasonable and our Estimator came on site to assess the property and answer questions on the front end. The job went very smoothly over a two day period: milling and then paving. The Operations Manager (Marc) was excellent in answering questions, being in touch, and letting us know what was in store.
