BAD EXPERIENCE I'm sorry to say...we had a very bad experience with Tope's. We towed my grandsons pickup there...it would not start. They kept it 5 days and said the fuel pump was bad and probably the computer...but was not sure. We decided to not continue the work. They charged us $225 and several hours later we towed the pickup back...they pushed it to the parking lot. They left it apart.They left the computer hanging under the dash...dash compartment apart. Great Service I was able to make my car last for almost 20 years by adhering to the regular maintenance schedule recommended by the guys at Tope's Auto! I always feel like family when I visit the shop.
Excellent Service!! Being a woman, you rarely find an auto repair shop that won't try to take advantage of you. I have used Tope's twice now and have found that they explain every repair and provide you with an honest diagnosis of the problem without trying to overcharge you. They are helpful, honest, and fast. They have found a lifetime customer!!! I absolutely TRUST Tope's!
Great service! Visiting relatives in Rosharon and had my Lincoln blow a spark plug out. Saw Topes online and they had great reviews. Called and talked with Joe and had AAA tow the car there while we came back to South Texas in a rental. Called AAA again and they highly recommended Topes and there was even a AAA discount. Everyone was right, this is a great repair shop with superb service! Joe was great to deal with.
Smooth Unethical Business Practices Based on my experience and research that I have conducted by interviewing several neighbors and friends and concluded that the business practices of Topes Auto Repair is highly not to be recommended to anyone, especially minorities or woman in which they both do not respect. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not recommend.They re-built my transmission in April 2011. In Dec the transmission went out again. They advised warranty would not cover the parts, but would cover the labor. They had outsourced repairs without our knowledge. They had the car for 7 days. When we picked up the car, there was a tear in the backseat leather, seat belt had been cut, oil pan was leaking, transmission was leaking, and left wheel had been bent. Tope's is great! Great customer care! I trust Tope's. They fix what is wrong and don't try to sell me on another "problem" the way other places do. They often don't charge just to check out a problem; if their isn't one, they won't lie just to make money. I've used them for two years and don't have one single complaint. I will never go back to "chain" auto places for as long as I live in Pearland.

Not Worth It Will not use again. Always trying to push additional repairs and additives. Always felt they were trying to pad the bill.
